Our hearts are with you, our family, and our friends during this difficult time. Our priority has always been the health and safety of our actors, patrons and staff. With the pandemic surge, it is becoming increasingly difficult to ensure that safety. In consideration of the growing number of COVID-19 cases, coupled with City of Peoria recommendations on limiting the size of gatherings, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to close our production of A Curiouser Nutcracker and cancel all future performances. We are heartbroken that we are unable to share this production with you and celebrate the holidays together at the theater.
If you are able, please consider converting your tickets into a donation or keeping your ticket purchase funds on account to use at a later date. We would be deeply grateful. It will give us resiliency during these extraordinary times. Any gifts made to TheaterWorks are fully tax-deductible. With the new CARES law, all taxpayers are able to take a charitable deduction of up to $300, even if you do not itemize. Or, if you would prefer, we will issue a refund of your ticket purchase. Please email email@example.com or call the Box Office at 623-815-7930 with your name and which option you would prefer for your performance tickets. We appreciate your patience as we navigate these changes.
Thank you for the tremendous support you have given to this production and TheaterWorks. The arts have always been a place that brings a community together and brings enjoyment in times of uncertainty. We have hope for the future and are thankful for your partnership on this journey.
We will continue to share updates with you as our plans for the future unfold. We wish you the happiest and safest of holidays.
